UESF will provide tax-filers with free tax preparation assistance and e-filing of federal and state returns. IRS certified staff will help guide you through the tax-filing process and answer any questions.
UESF celebrated with councilwoman Helen Gym when her bill was passed unanimously by City Council.
UESF attended the 5th Annual Veterans Parade to celebrate our Veterans!!
Councilwoman Helen Gym proposed a bill last spring to provide legal representation to low income Philadelphia tenants who are getting evicted from their homes. UESF went to the hearing to support this bill.
UESF will be assisting with LIHEAP applications from November 4th to 15th. Go to 1608 Walnut Street, 7th floor, Suite 705 between the hours of 10am – 3pm.
Join UESF at the “Right to Counsel” hearing at City Hall, Room 400 on October 29th at 10am. UESF is in full support because no one should face eviction alone!!
Every year we have a fundraiser to help support low income PECO customers keep their electric on all year round. This year we raised over $55,000 to go towards MEAF funds.
