UESF Continues Partnership with Multiple Sclerosis Society to help Stabilize Housing for MS Impacted Families

UESF is proud to continue assisting families impacted by Multiple Sclerosis through a partnership with the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS).  This effort is a component of UESF’s growing Support for Households with Disabilities programming.

Now in its second year, this partnership involves the referral of families to UESF from NMSS who are facing housing challenges along with the financial burden of their medical condition.  UESF is able to assist these families with rent, security deposits, mortgage, utilities, home modifications and repairs.

To date, over 40 families have been helped with over $50,000 of assistance provided through both an NMSS Community Impact Grant, as well as UESF basic needs funding.

If you or someone you know is living with MS and is in need of housing assistance, please call Ms. Ortiz at 215-814-6830.
